Bolt Torque Guide for
Various Bolts and Capscrews
| The following table lists
the correct torque values for various SAE bolts. It is the customer's
responsibility to maintain tightness of all bolts on equipment. If using
lock washers or locking nuts, increase torque by 5%. |

Always replace
hardware with the same grade as the original.
NOTE: On shear bolt-protected gear boxes, make sure to always use
a grade 2 bolt. Otherwise you run the risk of damaging your gear box. |
